Mexico continue to build their 2025 calendar with a high-profile friendly match against Colombia, scheduled for Saturday, Oct. 11 at AT&T Stadium in Arlington, Texas – one of the host venues for the 2026 FIFA World Cup. The match will be part of the FIFA international window, allowing both sides to field their full-strength squads.

Colombia, fresh off a runner-up finish at the 2024 Copa América, arrives in Texas as one of the most competitive teams in South America. The squad is led by global icon and Copa América Golden Boot winner James Rodríguez, along with Liverpool winger Luis Díaz and Fluminense standout Jhon Arias, who recently reached the semifinals of the 2025 FIFA Club World Cup.
