Rashford has been left out of United's last two matches, with the forward revealing he is "ready for a new challenge" earlier this week. Now, The Sun claims the Red Devils may countenance a loan exit, but not to a Premier League rival.

Despite head coach Ruben Amorim insisting United are "better with Rashford", the report adds it is 'widely accepted' that the England international will leave permanently at the end of the season. The situation is said to be 'becoming untenable' and the only solution would be to get him 'out of the picture' for a while. After their disastrous Jadon Sancho move, United will not want a repeat of that with Rashford.
